Three years ago they finished
sixth and two years ago they narrowly missed the cut, keeping
them out of the finals. The day before the 2007 convention they
talked about not coming at all. It's a good thing they did. CHORDIOLOGY
gave their most powerful performance ever to win this year's Pioneer
District Quartet contest with 1,631 points or 68 percent. The
quartet had its strongest night on Friday, opening with the very
upbeat, swinging "Memphis Blues" and "Tin Roof
Blues". In the finals they came back with "A Wink and
a Smile" and closed out with the very sentimental "Daddy's
Little Girl".
